Have been visiting other Blogger posts and enjoying them, but find it so frustrating not being able to comment. Wish they would fix this issue quickly.
I did find out that if the comment is embedded below the post with a "select profile" section, it doesn't work and makes you sign in over and over with no results.
By changing my settings to a pop-up window with a security word it worked well and I was even able to comment on my own blog. If bloggers aren't commenting try this change until the other is fixed.
Blogger has been working on this since May 24--hope it won't be too much longer.
I haven't had problems, but I've been away for a week or so. Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteJess, our site is one I cannot comment on. It asks me to sign into google, then on the preview comment it lists me as anonymous, but won't let me post the comment and asks me to keep signing in. Some Bloggers don't have this problem, others do and I'm one of the unlucky ones :)
ReplyDeleteI had this problem big time last week, but seems to be fixed now. Looks like they don't have all the bugs out yet, though, if you're still having trouble. Frustrating, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteKenda, very frustrating! I keep checking on blogger but they haven't announced a total fix yet so I guess they're still working on it.

ReplyDeleteCatherine, Did you select to have blogger "keep you signed in?" If you uncheck that box you should be able to comment again. At least it worked for me.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found the solution in the comments above. I was frustrated to no end, was even starting to email people directly and beg them to add the option to leave anonymous comments, when someone finally clued me in.

Yay, glad it all worked out. I think that update a few weeks ago screwed some stuff up--I've never had blog issues before that.
