My Dell desktop arrived today, ten days early! It's taking me a little time to set everything up but now I can catch up on all your blogs! I felt so lost. Just this weekend the old computer took a turn for the worst in Safe Mode and had to be unplugged. I wasn't looking forward at all to waiting almost two weeks. What a surpirse when FedEx rang the bell.
The only drawback is that my printer is not supported by Windows 7. So I'll be shopping for a printer this week. But I don't care..I have a computer!!!

ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I got a Windows 7 awhile back, and like you, my old printer isn't compatible. So I found an inexpensive but good laser one at Staples. I love Windows 7. It has a great touch. I think you'll enjoy it!!

Thanks, everyone:) I've been spending time now just getting to know Windows 7 and Office 2010. Things sure change from one edition to the next, by the time I figure it all out, it is time to change again:)

ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful when a merchant under-promises and over-delivers? Hope the printer search works out just as well for you. Wish I had something to recommend, but it has been several few years since I've had to shop for one.
