Beverly Cleary

I love Beverly Cleary! There was nothing she wrote I didn't treasure! Over at  the  Readatouille blog, Ruth talks about this unbelievably talented writer who brought joy to generations of readers and just turned 94. Please head over there where she also gives a link to an interview of Beverly Cleary by the School Library Journal.

Thanks for posting about her, Ruth, I would have missed it if you hadn't.

  4. Terry, if you have the time, pick up one of her books and I promise you will laugh out loud at something in it. You'll also come away with warm, fuzzy feelings. Her books were written about times where there were no cell phones, computers, etc, but they still have meaning to children's lives today.

  12. I love the covers they've done on more recent releases of her books. Of course, I have fond memories of the original covers as well. Her Ramona books are hilarious!
